Worried about the changes to the driving test that came into use last October? Our qualified ADI instructors are fully trained to help you with the new Independent Driving section of the test which is designed to help you safely adapt to driving on your own when you pass your test.
All age groups are welcome, whether you're an experienced driver looking for a refresher course or a new nervous learner taking a lesson for the first time. As professional driving instructors we believe in treating all our pupils as individuals & specialise in making sure that your introduction to driving with us is a happy & enjoyable experience.
We have excellent pass rates although passing first time is not always about competence. Nerves & not being able to practise outside your driving lessons are often crucial parts of whether you will pass - the DSA recommends 47 hours of professional tuition combined with 20 hours of driving with friends or family as the ideal for being ready to pass your test. Most of our pupils pass within 35/40 hours tuition. We recommend Collingwood Learner Insurance for those pupils who are fortunate enough to have a relative's car to practise on - this gives fully comprehensive insurance for the pupil so that if the worst happens the car is fully covered giving peace of mind for any parent/relative.
